Learn@ MAT win the tender for BaNES KS3 and KS4 ALP
Learn@ MAT have been awarded a 3 year contract (with the option of increasing to 5 years) to provide the Secondary Alternative Provision for Bath and North East Somerset. This will begin from September 2018 and be based in and around a variety of appropriate sites on the outskirts of the City of Bath. The provision will provide for up to 20 places and focus on ensuring ongoing quality learning for each student and smooth, successful transfers to mainstream schools or College.
This is a great opportunity for Learn@ MAT to develop its good practice across the region and reflects its commitment to working with young people who have been excluded from mainstream schooling. The CEO, Peter Evans, commented: ‘This is a great opportunity to show the Regional Schools Commissioner that Learn@ MAT have the ability and capacity to grow and share their expertise over a larger group of provisions.’
